Hello Silver Ridge family!
This month flew by in the blink of an eye! March was filled with bustling activities and the beginnings of a busy testing season. In every classroom on campus, teachers and students worked diligently to reach their goals and master academic material with exciting projects, engaging activities, and unwa-vering commitments to excel-lence.
At the end of March, our 3rd grade students took the Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) ELA test. They came to school ready to do their best, and we are so proud of how hard they worked! From this point through early May, testing is abound. Please help your children do their best by ensuring they get plenty of sleep, eat a nutritious breakfast, and arrive at school prepared by 8:00am.
This month, some dismissal changes were made as a part of our ongoing mission to keep our campus safe. Thank you so much for your flexibility and adherence to the new after-noon procedures!
As we approach the end of the 2016-2017 school year, let’s work together to remind our students that we are still ex-pecting their best—both aca-demically and behaviorally. There are many exciting activi-ties in which students will be participating, and we expect them to remain respectful, responsible, and resourceful!
We wish you a relaxing, fun-filled, and safe Spring Break, and we’ll see you bright and early when school resumes on Monday, April 17, 2017. Have a wonderful week!
